i’ve never taken professional photographs before, how do you handle this?

the majority of people I meet have never taken professional photographs until a significant milestone in their lives (proposal, engagement, wedding). being comfortable and relaxed is the key and I am very good at meeting a total stranger and helping them feel at ease quickly. usually this is achieved by having some common interests (food is my #1) and we end up talking about your favorite spots and we take photos in between these chats. the next thing you know we both have some new places to try and we have created some beautiful photos together.

what is your booking process and how do I pay you?

for bookings less than $1500 I require payment in full to book. for bookings over that amount I take a 50% retainer to hold the date with the balance due 30 days prior to the event. I accept Venmo, Zelle, and credit card through stripe. in general I normally only contract for larger bookings but I am always happy to provide a docusign if you’d like one even if it is for just an hour of shooting time.

what is your cancellation/refund policy?

cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis as circumstances can vary significantly.

being in San Francisco we are at the mercy of the weather and sometimes it can change for the worse unexpectedly. if conditions end up being really bad on the day of our shoot I am happy to re-schedule you for another date and time I am available.

booking fees are non-refundable but I am happy to move you to another date if you need to adjust with appropriate notice and availability.

what is your turnaround time for delivery and what format do you provide?

approximate turnaround time is 2-4 weeks. I try to get shorter shoots done faster but for longer bookings (2-hours +) it will take longer to complete. I deliver a gallery link with full-resolution jpegs you can can print anywhere you like. there is no watermark on the images and while I maintain ownership and copyright you are free to do anything you like with your photos. if you are in a rush please let me know and I can see what I can do for you.
